At Social Discovery Group, we believe the best talent often comes through people who already know us. That's why we created the SDG External Referral Program - an open invitation for anyone outside SDG to recommend outstanding candidates and get rewarded when those candidates join our team. Whether you're a former colleague, a community member, or simply someone who knows a great professional, this program is for you.
What is the SDG External Referral Program?
The SDG External Referral Program allows people outside of Social Discovery Group to recommend candidates for open or future roles — across every function and seniority level. That means IT and non-IT positions alike: developers, designers, marketers, HR professionals, finance specialists, and more.
If your referred candidate is hired and successfully completes their integration period, you receive a referral bonus of up to $5,000. There's no cap on the number of people you can refer - every successful hire counts.

Who can you refer?
The program is designed to be as open and flexible as possible. You can refer candidates for any current opening at SDG, or submit a profile for future consideration, even if there's no active vacancy that fits right now.
To be eligible, a candidate must:
- Not have applied to SDG or been in contact with our recruitment team within the last 6 months
- Not already be referred by another person
- Not be a self-referral (if you're looking for opportunities yourself, check out our open positions directly)
That's it. There are no limits on the number of referrals you can submit, and bonuses are awarded for each successful hire, so the more great people you know, the more you can earn.
How it works: three simple steps
1. Submit a referral
Fill out a short online form with your details and your candidate's information. Upload their CV, add their LinkedIn profile link, and choose whether you're referring them for a specific vacancy or for future consideration. Select your connection to the candidate and submit.

Once submitted, you'll instantly receive a unique tracking code - both in a confirmation pop-up and via email - which you can use to check the status of your referral at any time.

2. We review the candidate
Our recruitment team takes it from there. They evaluate the candidate's profile and manage the entire hiring process, keeping you informed along the way. If the candidate already exists in our system, you'll be notified accordingly.
3. You earn your bonus
If your candidate is offered and accepts a permanent position, and successfully completes their integration period (typically 3 to 6 months), your referral bonus is paid out. Payment timelines are communicated to you in advance so there are no surprises.
How much can you earn?
Referral bonuses go up to $5,000, with the exact amount depending on the role your candidate is hired for. Since there's no limit to the number of referrals you can make, the program rewards both quality and quantity of recommendations.
